Conceptual Development Plans
Conceptual development plans, or CDPs, guide the future use and development at each state park and historic site. CDPs support the mission, purpose and direction of each facility. These long-range plans outline area use, site goals, development objectives, research needs and project phasing while taking into consideration the significant natural, cultural and recreational resources of the park or site.

Each CDP update is led by a team of resource professionals and matter experts who collect and review relevent information, facilitate public engagement and draft formal planning documents. The timeline for completing a CDP is dependent upon multiple variables such as facility complexity, scheduling with internal and external stakeholders, data collection and CDP team consensus.
