SUMMARY:First Day Hike
DESCRIPTION:1/1/2026 | Table Rock State Park | Branson\, MO.\nJoin park staff for an easy guided hike on Table Rock Lakeshore Trail to kick off the new year. True to its name\, this trail runs along the shore of Table Rock Lake\, from State Park Marina to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Dewey Short Visitor Center adjacent to the dam. This paved trail is relatively flat\, so it is popular among visitors of all abilities. As it runs along the shoreline\, it provides good views of the lake on the lower side and of 200-plus-year-old oaks on the upper side. \nThis hike will cover approximately 2 miles and will begin at the trailhead in the marina parking lot. The event is free\, open to the public\, and suitable for all ages. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate shoes\, dress for the weather\, and bring water and snacks. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash. \nRegistration is required and can be completed using the link provided here. If the hike is canceled\, an announcement will be emailed to registrants and posted on the Park and Site Status Map. \nFirst Day Hikes are promoted by America’s State Parks and are held at parks across the country at the start of each year. DESCRIPTION:6/7/2025 | Table Rock State Park | Branson\, MO\nThe public is invited to celebrate National Trails Day with a guided hike at Table Rock State Park. This hike will cover 3.1 miles on the Red Loop of the White River Valley Trail System. \nThe Red Loop is a technically challenging trail\, with natural surfaces and an elevation change of roughly 120 feet. Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate shoes\, dress for the weather\, and bring water and snacks. Pets are welcome but must be leashed. The hike will begin at Trailhead 1 at 8 a.m. \nThis event is free\, but online registration is required.
