SUMMARY:Thursday Night Hike: Fawns Ridge Trail
DESCRIPTION:3/13/2025 | Lake of the Ozarks State Park | Brumley\, MO\nJoin staff at Lake of the Ozarks State Parks for a series of guided night hikes each Thursday from March 13 to April 3. We will explore a different trail each week\, and the length of the hike will depend on the trail. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks.  \nSeries Schedule:\nEach hike will begin at the trailhead for the respective trail. For Fawns Ridge Trail\, which has two trailheads\, participants should meet at the trailhead by the Public Beach #1 Shelter. \nThese events are free and open to the public\, but registration is required. SUMMARY:First Day Hike
DESCRIPTION:1/1/2025 | Lake of the Ozarks State Park | Brumley\, MO\nJoin us for a 2-mile guided hike on Rocky Top Trail. Rocky Top Trail climbs to one the largest glades in the park and passes through native Ozark woodlands of white oaks\, bluestem grass and asters. It then crosses through a ravine and reaches a rich north-facing slope that gives way to dolomite cliffs overlooking the Lake of the Ozarks. The trail consists of natural surfaces and is considered moderately difficult. It should take us about one and a half hours to complete the hike. \nThis event is free\, open to the public\, and suitable for all ages. Pets are welcome but must be kept on a leash of 10 feet or less. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks and dress for the weather.  \nRegistration is required for this event and can be completed by clicking here.
