DESCRIPTION:4/11/2026 to 4/12/2026 | Beaumont Scout Reservation | High Ridge\, Mo.\nMissouri State Parks and Wonders of Wildlife are partnering with a team of agencies to present the St. Louis WOW National Outdoor Recreation and Conservation School. This family event offers recreational activities for beginners to try out with professionals. Come enjoy a beautiful spring weekend of fishing\, rock climbing\, birding and more. Participants will also have the option to camp with us overnight! \nRegistration is required\, and there are fees and age restrictions. Continue reading for more information. \nProgram Information and Course Guide:\n\nThe most complete information about this event is provided in the St. Louis WOW School Program Information and Course Guide.\nHighlights from the guide are provided below.\n\nLocation and Transportation:\n\nAll activities will take place at Cub World in Beaumont Scout Reservation\, located at 6480 Beaumont Reservation Drive in High Ridge\, Missouri.\nTransportation is available from St. Louis city. See Page 8 of the guide for more information.\n\nEvent times:\n\nCheck-in starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday\, April 11.\nDaytime participants will depart by 3:15 p.m. on Saturday\nOvernight participants will depart by 10 a.m. on Sunday\, April 12.\nA complete schedule is provided on Page 5 of the guide.\n\nAge Restrictions:\n\nThis event is open to everyone ages 5 and older.\nChildren ages 5-9 must sign up for the Magical Minis camp and must have a registered parent participating in the day’s activities.\nChildren ages 10-17 must have a parent or guardian attend all programs with them.\nNo one under the age of 5 is permitted to attend the event.\n\nRegistration and Fees:\n\nRegistration is required and must be completed online.\nOn-site registration is not available.\nRegistration opens March 1 and closes April 1.\nThe fee is $15 plus tax per person for day classes only\, and $25 plus tax per person for day classes and the overnight campout.\nPayments are nonrefundable.\nScholarships are available.
