SUMMARY:Water Festival
DESCRIPTION:6/14/2025 | Rock Bridge Memorial State Park | Columbia\, MO\nCome have fun with water and learn about streams and aquatic animals at our annual Water Festival! \nWe will have a variety of activities\, all designed for ages 4 and up. Activities will include: \n\nGuided tours of Connor’s Cave\nA live turtle station\nOpportunities to catch aquatic animals in the stream and to play with a model of a stream\nPrograms about fish\, birds\, bugs and stream health\nNature stories\nMeet and greets with representatives from local organizations.\n\nMost activities will take place near the start of Devil’s Icebox Trail. Some parking will be available in the Devil’s Icebox parking lot; additional parking will be available at the Gilbert Picnic Shelter. A shuttle will run between the two locations every 15 minutes. (See the event map.) \nThis event is co-sponsored by Boone County Resource Management\, Missouri Stream Teams\, Missouri Master Naturalists and the park. The event is free and open to the public\, and there is no need to register.
