DESCRIPTION:6/28/2025 | Thousand Hills State Park | Kirksville\, MO\nJoin park staff to learn about the atlatl\, an ancient spear-throwing device\, and get your chance to learn how to use an atlatl to throw a replica spear. This activity is free and open to the public but is best suited for ages 8 and up. There is no need to register. \nThe program will take place in the park’s special-use area.
