DESCRIPTION:5/10/2025 | Thousand Hills State Park | Kirksville\, MO\nIn honor of World Migratory Bird Day\, you’re invited to join staff at Thousand Hills State Park to learn some basic birding skills and enjoy a leisurely hike. We will meet at the Beach Shelter at 8 a.m. \nThe birding hike will take place on a section of Carolyn Bagley Harding Trail. This trail has a paved surface and is accessible to wheelchairs and strollers. Participants are encouraged to wear closed-toe shoes and should consider bringing binoculars\, field guides and cameras. A limited supply of binoculars and field guides will be available to use during the program. \nBirding for Beginners is free and open to the public\, and there is no need to register.
