DESCRIPTION:10/18/2025 | Meramec State Park | Sullivan\, MO\nJoin us in the campground on Saturday\, Oct. 18\, for our annual Spooktacular event! We will be celebrating Halloween with pumpkin carving\, trick-or-treating\, a scary movie\, and more. \nCampers are encouraged to provide candy for trick-or-treaters\, and everyone is encouraged to wear a costume. Popcorn will be provided for the movie. \nRegular camping fees apply\, but the event itself is free. \nEvent schedule:\n\nColoring contest: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.\n\nColoring sheets available in the field across from the booth starting at 9 a.m.\nColoring sheets due by 3 p.m.\n\n\nScavenger hunt: 1:30 p.m.\n\nMeet in the field across from the booth\n\n\nNaturalist station: 2-4 p.m.\nJack-o’-lantern contest: carved pumpkins due by 4 p.m.\n\nPlace carved pumpkins at the station near the coloring contest\n\n\nTrick-or-treating: 5-7 p.m. throughout the campground\n\nCampground roads closed from 4:45-7:15 p.m.\n\n\nMovie: 7:30 p.m. at the amphitheater\n\nEvent time: 9 a.m. – 9 p.m.\nFor more information\, call the park office at 573-468-6072 \nTo see more events like this\, please visit our fall fun events page. \nMeramec State Park is located at: \n115 Meramec Park Drive\, Sullivan\, MO | 573-468-6072 \nAssociated Activities\n
