DESCRIPTION:10/11/2025 | Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site | Pilot Knob\, MO\nEvery three years\, Battle of Pilot Knob State Historic Site hosts one of the biggest Civil War reenactments west of the Mississippi. In 2024\, our reenactment was captured by professional photographer Tyler Schlitt. Tyler’s stunning landscapes\, portraits and action shots tell the story of what it takes to commemorate such an event of this size and significance. \nOn Oct. 11\, the historic site will host a meet the artist event to highlight these outstanding pieces and the artist behind them. Come meet Tyler\, visit with the historic site staff\, and enjoy the photos. This reception will take place in the historic site museum from 6-9 p.m. The event is free and open to the public\, and there is no need to register. Light refreshments will be provided. \nIf you cannot make it to the reception\, don’t worry – the photos will remain on display through the end of November.
